Inspired from the ‘Tiffin’ service in India, essentially a large catering company prepares and delivers food to customers at regular intervals( a meal everyday or more )
This medium enables ‘busy’ people to eat healthy home cooked meals everyday, by connecting with people who make food everyday in their own kitchens. So, instead of preparing for themselves only, they make 3-5 extra meals for these people to buy or exchange. Thus fostering healthy eating for everyone by tapping into, community.
A user journey of how the process might work. Detailed considerations were made to test quality of the food, from making guidelines to getting a NYC food handler certification before one can enroll to become a cook
The medium which connects people, some being cooks and other consumers.
A consumer can choose a variety of delicacies that are being prepared at a given time, the cook enlists the time, dish, ingredients and other details on the app. Once ordered sometime in advance, the person has to go and physically interact with the cook to get the food, there are no delivery options. This builds community, many of us do not know even know our neighbours
